The service
Team Corrigan Alerts sends text messages when National Weather Service alerts or local emergency alerts distributed through FEMA's IPAWS system affect the counties you choose. The service is for US phone numbers and US locations only.
SMS program
- Program: Team Corrigan Alerts weather & emergency alerts.
- How to join: text START to , or sign up on this website and confirm your number with a one-time code.
- Message frequency varies with the weather and local conditions — from none to several per day during active events.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- To stop: text STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to , or use "Unsubscribe from texts" in your account. You'll receive one confirmation message and nothing after that.
- For help: text HELP to , or email us at ethan@teamcorrigan.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No guarantee — not a replacement for official warnings
Text messages can be delayed, filtered or lost, and data from upstream sources can be late or unavailable. Never rely on this service as your only source of warnings. Keep a NOAA Weather Radio, enable Wireless Emergency Alerts on your phone, and follow instructions from local officials. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss arising from a missed, late or inaccurate alert.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your phone number and locations accurate. You can delete your account at any time from the account page, or by texting DELETE.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
